Computer Science for High Schools Conference 2022
28 - 29 November 2022, Victoria University of Wellington
CS4HS 2022 is an annual event hosted by Victoria University of Wellington focused on preparing teachers to learn new skills and network with teachers from all over the country.
It is a subject association conference, setup in conjunction with our national body DTTA (Digital Technology Teachers Aotearoa).
The conference runs for two days with no course cost and aims to cover:
- Discussion around the Review of Achievement Standards
- Skills based sessions for Secondary Teachers
- Networking opportunities with other NZ educators
As its no more externally funded, Victoria University of Wellington are sponsoring the event catering and venue related costs. We want as many teachers to benefit from the awesome lineup of presenters. Many thanks to DTTA committee for making this happen !
Location: Te Toki a Rata / Cotton Building/ Alan MacDiarmid Building, Victoria University, Kelburn Parade, Wellington 6012 - Come through the Te Toki a Rata entrance (near the round about) and the registration table should be in the foyer.
Accommodation: TePuni IS CLOSED OVER SUMMER for repairs. Unfortunately, you will need to look for some place in the city.
Food: Morning tea, Lunch and Afternoon tea are provided for both days. Ensure you get your food preferences right in the form. Networking (drinks and nibbles) at the end of day 1 at milk and honey (on campus) (reservation needed, on the registration form). No dinners provided.
