I have now moved to UNSW Australia. Please refer here for up-to-date information. I can be contacted at praveen.b.choppala@gmail.com

I obtained my PhD on the 11th December 2014. My PhD study was supported by Callaghan Innovation (formerly Industrial Research Limited) Science Scholarship. My thesis can be found at: http://researcharchive.vuw.ac.nz/bitstream/handle/10063/3676/thesis.pdf?sequence=2

I am also continuing my research along with my former supervisors Associate Professor Paul Teal and Dr Marcus Frean, on several aspects of Bayesian inference -- Bayesian multiple target tracking using phased sensor arrays, particle filtering methods, particle filter parallelisation and random finite set filtering. The focus of our work is the effective detection and tracking of multiple (many) targets in high noise environments. Some results of our work can be found at http://ecs.victoria.ac.nz/Groups/CSP/PublicationExtras
