Research Project Information

Prolonged hospitalisation or isolation can significantly impact adolescents' psychological and social wellbeing by disconnecting them from their usual social networks. To address this issue, we are testing a Social VR system that incorporates conversational virtual characters and agents to promote adolescent social interactions during extended periods of social isolation.
