Research Interests
My interest and active involvement with databases is already 30 years long. Today, my primary research interest is in Relational and XML (Extensible Markup Language) database constraints. In these regards, I pay particular attention to the parallelism between relational and XML database constraints.
I am also interested in conceptual, logical, and physical database design, in query optimization issues, and Data Warehousing.
Until recently, my research interest was focused on an intelligent Database Design Case Tool.
