School of Computer Science and Engineering -- Postgraduate Research Grant

From mid-2025, the Postgraduate Research Grant funding has been split between supervisors based on the number of Postgraduate student they supervise. Each PhD student has been allocated a certain amount of funding that now sits with each supervisor in a grant which they are able to access to support their Postgraduate students.

ECS Postgraduate Research Top-Up Grant

The School is allocating a small amount of additional funding as PG Top-up Grant to provide further support for essential research needs and academic development of postgraduate students in the school to complete their degree in due time.

Postgraduate students must discuss with their supervisor(s) before making an application.

• Application Deadline: 28 June 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
