School of Engineering and Computer Science Tutor Application
Each trimester, The School of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) recruits and upskills tutors to provide support for students' learning and academic success.
Tutors play a vital role in the University. They are involved in running labs, delivering tutorials, marking assignments, minding helpdesks, monitoring the class forum page, and much more.
To become an ECS tutor, applicants need to have good subject results for Engineering and Computer Science courses. Students need to be in their second-year or above in their studies to be considered for tutoring positions.

Rates of pay are approximately $23.30 - $29.30 on per hour, depending on the level of qualification and experience plus 8% holiday pay in addition to your hourly rate of pay.

Kindly specify your current enrolment status when the trimester starts and outline any tutoring experience you have, including details about the courses you've tutored.
There are two rounds of selection. Closing date for the first round is on
10th December 2024. After this date, applications will be received but placed in the reserved pool and suitable candidates will be contacted in case they are required.
The second round ends on
22nd January 2025, and after that, we won't accept any more applications.
