Thank you for your interest in speaking at WiDSNZ 2026.

We welcome speakers from academia, industry, government, and the community to share insights, experiences, and applications in data science, AI, and related areas. In line with our commitment to advancing diversity and representation in data science, this call for speakers is open to individuals who identify as women, as well as trans and non-binary people. We respectfully ask that presentation submissions be limited to people from these groups, as our event is dedicated to amplifying voices that are traditionally underrepresented in the field. If your talk is selected, you'll need to be available to attend the conference in person in Wellington on 25 August 2025, between 2pm and 7pm. Please be aware that WiDS NZ is unable to offer financial support for travel to the event.
