DESCRIPTION:Stitch Fix is an online clothing retailer that not only focuses
  on delivering personalized clothing recommendations for our customers\, b
 ut also applies the output of data science to automate numerous other busi
 ness functions through the delivery of forecasts\, predictions\, and analy
 ses. We rely heavily on the ability for applied mathematics & statistics a
 nd our human decision makers to synergistically work\; doing this well req
 uires us to merge art & science together. However with around eighty data 
 scientists in residence\, it can be challenging to support so many differe
 nt needs from an infrastructure perspective.The talk will also cover how S
 titch Fix scales access to data using S3 as our source of truth as well as
  how Stitch Fix scales ad-hoc compute resources for data scientists using 
 Docker & ECS.
