TMQ will not be offering its MARC21 in Your Library workshop in NZ this year, so anyone who was hoping to attend might be please to hear that the workshop is being offered as an OCLC webinar, split over three days Aug 14-16 from 3-5:30pm (EDT--Florida time) i.e., Aug 15-17 from 7-9:30am NZ time.

This workshop is an introduction to MARC21 and how it is meant to work in a library automation system. It explains what the MARC standards are and how those standards tie in with our cataloging rules (AACR) to help catalogers create data that will function effectively in a library catalog.

See the OCLC Training Portal for more details about this workshop and to register: TMQ MARC21 in Your Library Part 2: MARC Coding, the Core Codes and Their Functions (TMQ)
