Additionally:

I can now confirm that this course will also be offered in Trimester 1 of 2020, and probably each Trimester 1 after that.

(This is a change from previous years when the cataloguing and classification course was offered in Trimester 2.)

Regards
Amanda

Subject: Open Polytechnic Cataloguing and Classification course

The new version of our cataloguing and classification course is now open for enrolments and will be offered in Trimester 3, 2020:

LIS611 Cataloguing and Classification
https://www.openpolytechnic.ac.nz/qualifications-and-courses/lis611-cataloguing-and-classification/

The course supersedes 72272 Cataloguing and Classification, and covers the same content with an additional learning outcome focusing on the needs of library catalogue users in particular contexts.

It can be taken as part of the Bachelor of Library and Information Studies, as a Certificate of Proficiency, or as part of the outgoing Bachelor’s degrees instead of 72272.

Please contact me directly if you have any questions about the course or how it might fit into your qualification.
