Hello all

Later this year I will be going through the collection of old maps (mostly local to Hawke’s Bay) that we have in our stack with the view of getting them catalogued and therefore accessible for our patrons. I would imagine that some at least would turn out to have full records in Te Puna/OCLC. However, some may require original cataloguing. I don’t have any experience of cataloguing maps – only some theoretical knowledge from back when I did my library studies. Does anyone know of short courses or can recommend a book that would give me enough knowledge to do a reasonable effort if some do require original cataloguing?
