It would be very good if everyone who gets MARC records from vendors for e-resources could forward this link to those vendors, to re-inforce the fact that every different version/format of a resource requires its own unique ISBN. This could also be a good opportunity to remind all of the creators of MARC records for e-books, e.g., Serials Solutions, that they must NOT enter the ISBNs for print resources as 'valid' (020$a) in the separate records that they create for e-resources.
