The DescribeNZ moderators group have been working hard on updating the DescribeNZ site last year so it meets the current needs to New Zealand cataloguers.  With the introduction of the IFLA Library Reference Model and the start of the 3R project this seemed like a good time to refresh the content on the site.

We have added a search box and streamlined the navigation to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. 

We would love to hear from you if you think there is some content that would be useful to other cataloguers, especially those new to the profession, that could be added to the site.

We are also interested in including more Cataloguing policies from other New Zealand libraries.  If you would like to share your cataloguing policy please send a copy through.
