Dear colleagues,

Following the creation of the Auckland "super city" in Nov.  2010, authority records were created and edited to reflect the new structure. Guidelines were also produced to help cataloguers with the assigning of geographic subject headings and subdivisions.

These guidelines are now available on the Describe NZ wiki at http://nznuc-cataloguing.pbworks.com/w/page/36790063/Auckland-name-changes

We hope you will find them useful. Please contact me if you have any queries.

Kind regards,

Judy
