I have accepted a two year appointment on the SLA Committee on Cataloguing and will attend the meeting of the Committee and associated conference sessions at the SLA annual conference to be held in Philadelphia June 12^th-16^th 2011, one of which is titled RDA overview by Judy Kuhagen from the Library of Congress.

The SLA Cataloguing Committee is also looking at the IFLA draft review document : Guidelines for subject access in National Bibliographies : world-wide review.
