RDA in 10 easy steps (for cataloguing a book) by Thomas Brenndorfer

and

RDA for non-cataloguers by Renate Beilharz

http://conferences.alia.org.au/libtec2011/papers/Renate_Beilharz.pdf

Both resources were mentioned during the recent RDA seminar. Both provide a simple framework when trying to explain to non-cataloguers what the changes will be and how they will impact positively for clients. I would recommend them as a starting point for discussion on impending changes and issues.

Hi folks,

Here are two presentations that introduce RDA to non-cataloguers. The first is a 2010 presentation by Judy Kuhagen of the Library of Congress for the LC reference staff, and the second is a much shorter and more general presentation that I gave at the 2010 LIANZA but it has been updated slightly for 2012.

If anyone has come across other presentations of this kind, please send them to the CatSIG list.

Many thanks

Chris
