Hi Catherine

What a pity the National Library of New Zealand did not adopt Koha as it's library management system.

Significance issues are fixed in a couple of days.

With kind regards,

Irma

At the recent ‘Tukua’ Māori Subject Headings training workshop, it was noted that some agencies have been downloading National Library bibliographic records with Māori Subject Headings that lack the correct MARC punctuation. We understand this has caused filing and display problems in some OPACs.

The problem is associated with Alma, National Library’s  library management system. We have just received the good news that ExLibris are working to fix this MARC punctuation problem, which should be resolved by December 2017 – still quite a long way away, but at least we are making progress!

Kind regards

Catherine
