New information on the RDA section of the ACOC website

Hi everyone,

We have recently added some new links and information to the Australian RDA pages on the ACOC website

RDA and Systems *New page*

This new page contains a link to our Systems FAQ, information about MARC changes, and information from library system vendors, cataloguing vendors and shared databases about their plans for RDA implementation.

Training

A series of RDA Background information sessions given recently for National Library staff have been posted the Training Materials page.  These talks explore the structure and purpose of RDA and the history of its development, as well as FRBR and FRAD.

On this page you will also find a link to the Training and Test Documentation website at North Carolina State University Libraries, one of the US Testing Libraries. This website contains all documentation relating to their involvement in the RDA test, including training documentation, examples workflows and RDA records, and NCSU RDA presentations.

US RDA Test

Under Other Resources, we have added a link to a new LC website where you can download files of RDA test records submitted by institutions involved as formal and informal test participants of the US RDA Test.
