In case you haven't seen this on RDA-L, there is an open survey on soft-deprecated elements in the Official RDA.
The RSC are very interested in responses to inform whatever thinking descriptive communities have done on this, whether having decided for or against, or whether communities simply
haven't considered them at all yet. Further details are available in the original email from the RSC Secretary, copied below.
The survey is open for just over a month, so please take the time to have a look and discuss and help us provide an Oceania perspective on how you see the future of these elements.
