[Apologies for cross-posting and missing macrons]
Tena koutou,
This is an update about the development work of Nga Upoko
Tukutuku, from the work done at the May meeting. We have created 33 new
headings and made changes to 14 existing terms http://mshupoko.natlib.govt.nz/mshupoko/recent.htm.
The Project Team would like to acknowledge
Robyn East, from Te Puna Matauranga o Aotearoa National Library of New Zealand
who has stepped down as a Project Team member. We wish her well and thank her
for the huge contribution she has made since the Maori Subject Headings Project
first began. We would also like to welcome a new member, Catherine Amey,
also of National Library of New Zealand, to the MSH Project Team.
If you have any requests for new headings,
please send your suggestions and supporting context to us at reo@dia.govt.nz. Furthermore, if you have any
queries or comments about the headings, the project, or anything else in
general please do not hesitate to contact us.
Ma te kimi ka kite,
ma te kite ka mohio, ma te mohio ka marama, no reira e nga e nga hau e wha,
tena koutou katoa.
Na matou o Nga Upoko Tukutuku,
Kim, Charlotte, Jacinta and the MSH Project
Team.
Catherine Amey
