The Metadata and Cataloging Committee of the ALA Graphic Novels and Comics Roundtable is pleased to announce the final version of Best Practices for Cataloging Comics and Graphic Novels Using
RDA and MARC21 is available to view and/or download at https://alair.ala.org/handle/11213/18623.
The Committee wishes to thank the numerous people in both the cataloging and comics communities who took the time and effort to provide thoughtful comments and feedback during the creation of
this document.
We hope the document will be useful to the comics cataloging community, helping standardize and improve the recording of comics metadata to better assist patrons in discovering and selecting works
of interest.
