The RDA Toolkit Restructure and Redesign Project, better known as the 3R Project, seeks to improve the usability of the Toolkit and to address a range of cataloging issues, including the implementation of the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM). Since the June rollout of the RDA Toolkit beta site, the publishers of RDA and the RDA Steering Committee (RSC) have been collecting community feedback on the direction of both the standard and the website and are still making key decisions that will lead to the completion of the 3R Project. Join a discussion with representatives from the RSC, the North American RDA Committee and ALA Publishing, as they address the community feedback to the beta site, changes coming in September and beyond, and how the North American community can contribute to the continuing enhancement of RDA. Expected panelists include- Gordon Dunsire, Chair of RSC Kathy Glennan, Chair-elect of RSC James Hennelly, Director of RDA Toolkit Thomas Brenndorfer, NARDAC Representative to the RSC Freely available here https://alapublishing.webex.com/ec3300/eventcenter/recording/recordAction.do?siteurl=alapublishing&theAction=poprecord&recordID=17740052&internalRecordTicket=4832534b00000004c2dedb6e7331a73121f17df0fbaee17cb004c678a495bb4bc16c7b575627eb3c Regards Joanne Rowan CatSIG Convenor c/o Serials Unit Libraries and Learning Services University of Auckland Private Bag 92019 Auckland Mail Centre Auckland 1142 New Zealand Phone: 649 3737 599 extn 87725 Fax: 649 3737 401 Email: jf.rowan@auckland.ac.nzmailto:jf.rowan@auckland.ac.nz
