Our Resource & Information Service provides a valuable service to the general public, mental health professionals and Mental Health Foundation staff. The Foundation aims to provide quality information to people when they need it. To achieve these aims the Resource & Information service is undergoing re-development and we are looking for an experienced cataloguer to join us for a period of 8 months initially to assist in this task. This position requires a working knowledge of current practice in librarianship. A library qualification is preferred, although not essential, with knowledge of US MARC, experience with TePuna WebCat and good general computer skills. Knowledge of National Library of Medicine Classification, Cataloguing Client and experience with Liberty 3 will be an advantage. You will bring to the role a structured approach with meticulous attention to detail. The Mental Health Foundation actively promotes the articles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
