Have you worked as a cataloguer doing original and copy cataloguing of both books and non-book materials, in a public library context, for at least five years? Are you able to take a leadership role within a cataloguing team? Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a can-do attitude to problem solving? Are you enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy a challenge? TLS (Total Library Solutions – http://www.tlsnz.co.nz) is one of New Zealand’s leading library suppliers. They are well established in the New Zealand market providing outsourced cataloguing services to a wide range of public libraries. Their senior cataloguer is moving on, and they are seeking the right person to help provide and develop this service. This is a full-time (5 days a week, no evening or weekend work required) position, starting at the beginning of July. The office is located in Albany on Auckland’s North Shore, close to the Northern and Upper Harbour Motorways. The pay rate is competitive, and will be commensurate with skills and experience.
