Team Leader, Systems & Access Collections Team | Auckland University of Technology Library We are seeking a Team Leader, Systems & Access to fill a vacancy in the Collections Team. This position contributes to the University’s mission of great graduates by providing professional expertise to ensure discoverable access to Library resources. The role is primarily based at the City Campus Library, but occasional work at other campuses might be required. In this position you will: - provide leadership in implementation, development and support of appropriate metadata standards - coordinate verification of AUT’s published PBRF-eligible research outputs - manage the performance and development of library staff in Systems & Access To be considered for this position you will have: - an undergraduate degree and a Library qualification, preferably MLIS/MIS - a minimum of 3 years in a relevant professional position that includes experience with and knowledge of: MARC21, RDA, DDC, LCSH, AACR2 and non-MARC metadata standards - extensive knowledge and understanding of the concept, theory and application of systems and access to information resources - excellent oral and written communication skills This is a full-time (75 hours per fortnight) permanent position. You must be eligible to work in NZ to be considered.
