Second Life is a 3D virtual world with over 1 million members. The Second Life Library 2.0, Caledon Branch Library, Teen Library, Consumer Health Library, and Medical Library provide library services to these members. The purpose of the Cataloging Group is to set up a cataloging system that can by used by library patrons inside Second Life to locate library resources, and to catalog Second Life library resources onto this system. We are looking for volunteers interested in cataloging and/or systems librarianship. You can work from anywhere and contribute as many or as few hours as you like. If you would like to be a part of this exciting project, visit http://infoisland.org/drupal/kickbuttcatalogers to sign up. We are also looking for volunteer(s) to manage the Second Life del.icio.us account at http://del.icio.us/secondlifelibrary . Please contact jwatso21@utmem.edu to volunteer.
