Good afternoon, OCLC and the National Library of New Zealand are currently sponsoring a series of web seminars for OCLC Cataloguing and Reference Services topics. More web seminars have been scheduled for the week of 16 November as follows: Monday November 16: WorldCat, Cataloguing Standards and Client Basics Tuesday November 17: Copy Cataloguing Friday November 20: WorldCat in FirstSearch The web seminar schedule with time and registration information, is at http://nznuc-cataloguing.pbworks.com/FrontPage The web-seminars are available to all Te Puna libraries due to the partnering agreement between OCLC and the National Library of New Zealand. The audience is primarily cataloguers using, or wanting to use, OCLC Connexion software. However, one session is available for FirstSearch and reference. The web sessions are delivered through an interactive Web site and telephone conference call. Each web session is a 2-hour time block except for the copy cataloguing session which includes an optional 1 hour session on Batch Processing.
