-Apologies for cross posting- Dear colleagues CATSIG is considering running Rudimentary RDA webinar, a TMQ (The Marc of Quality) cataloguing workshop on 25 August. This is in response to requests in the survey for beginners RDA training. Rudimentary RDA (1 day): In the course of the workshop, we intend to answer the following questions: * How RDA is intended to help the users of our OPACs * What are FRBR, WEMI, FISO, and FRAD * What is really different about RDA * What is the RDA Toolkit * What is RIMMF * How the Toolkit and RDA-based cataloguing software (such as RIMMF) will make it simpler for us to describe and provide access to resources * What we should do with RDAMARC records that we copy, to make those records work properly in our OPACs See the TMQ website http://www.marcofquality.com/trn/rda.html for more information.
