OCLC Updates and Special Offers: Cataloging and Metadata
OCLC offers free webinar on parallel records

Join us for a free, live webinar on the topic of parallel records. Parallel records are records for the same manifestation but cataloged in different languages that reside parallel to each other in WorldCat.
Join us on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 4:00-5:00 PM EDT or on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, from 10:00-11:00 AM EDT to learn more about parallel records.
In the event that you're not able to attend, the sessions will be recorded and one of them will be made available on the Web.
Register to attend the June 17 session (https://www3.oclc.org/app/request/bin/request.asp?specialCode=ParallelRec09Jun17&utm_source=WhatCountsEmail&utm_medium=Special+Offers+%26+Information%2FSpecial+Offers+-+Cataloging+%26+Metadata&utm_campaign=Cataloging+and+Metadata) or the June 23 session (https://www3.oclc.org/app/request/bin/request.asp?specialCode=ParallelRec09Jun23&utm_source=WhatCountsEmail&utm_medium=Special+Offers+%26+Information%2FSpecial+Offers+-+Cataloging+%26+Metadata&utm_campaign=Cataloging+and+Metadata) and we will email you the access codes for the session. All you will need to attend is a Web browser. Audio will be provided through your Web browser-you'll need speakers or headphones connected to your workstation. Audio is also available via conference call.

We hope you can join us!
