8/10/2020: Test 3 - Friday 23 October 9 a.m.

Test 3 will start at 9 am on Friday 23 October 2020
  • This test is an open book test. You may access the lecture notes, lecture videos, textbooks and online resources.
  • This test will be available from 9am Friday 23 October to 9am Saturday 24 October. Input your answers and click "submit" before 9am Saturday 24 October.
  • Go to the Blackboard homepage of CGRA151 —> "OnlineTests" Folder —> "Online Test 3" to answer questions during the test time.
  • Once you submit your completed test, you cannot make any further changes. During the test you can click "save answers" and continue the test later if you are interrupted.
  • Any test submitted after 9am Saturday 24 October will be not accepted, unless you have special circumstances with evidence shown to the lecturers.
  • Though the questions are estimated to be finished within 1 hour, we suggest you start the test at least 2 or 3 hours before the deadline and preferably complete the test on the Friday. Do not wait until the last 5 minutes to submit your answers! In the first online test, there were several students reporting problems about Blackboard when attempting to submit in the last minutes.
  • If you think a question is unclear, ask for clarification by Zoom from 10am to 11am, Friday 23 October. Note that the Zoom session opens one hour after the test starts. The Zoom link is
  • This test contributes 20% of your final grade.

Welcome to CGRA151 Introduction to Computer Graphics.  

Your lecturers are Prof. Neil Dodgson and Dr Fanglue Zhang. Dr Alex Doronin will be managing our team of terrific tutors who take the tutorials and mark your work.  

It is going to be a great trimester and we look forward to meeting you all in the first lecture at 3:10 p.m. Monday 13 July in the Memorial Theatre (SU228).  

You will need to sign up for a CGRA151 tutorial in myAllocator. There are twelve possible tutorial slots, at six different times on Thursdays. The first tutorials take place on 16 July.
