The Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CDSAI) at Victoria University of Wellington, with support from the Royal Society Te Apārangi Catalyst: Leaders Fund, is hosting a one-day workshop to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being used to solve real-world problems.

This event will bring together researchers and industry professionals to share their work, discuss new ideas, and explore how AI can be applied across diverse fields.

The program will include:

Prof. Wolfgang Banzhaf

Professor Wolfgang Banzhaf is the John R. Koza Chair in Genetic Programming in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. He is a renowned expert in evolutionary computation and genetic programming, with extensive research contributing to the field of evolutionary algorithms.
