"I am currently working at the Ministry of Justice for the Courts and Tribunals ICT team. My title is "Associate Developer" and I am responsible for creating Oracle database applications.

Tasks include generating data reports for the business: attending workshops: writing functional, non-functional, data and reports requirements: creating cost estimates: developing applications: giving presentations: writing work-orders for the database administrators: filling in Change Request forms.

We each have a booklet called the Code of Conduct and fill in the yearly Conflicts of Interest declaration form. This is important because database developers have access to sensitive information.

We also each write a yearly reflective summary of the work we did based on the Lominger competencies and are then "graded" with Exceeds, Meets, Developing and Not Meets.
