These terms came from the work of the MSH Librarian and the MSH Project Team at the last project team hui, held in December 2010. These terms include: Hi ika, now covering all aspects of fishing and fisheries, including fishing tools and fishing grounds. Papaho, meaning main means of mass communication, now includes radio, television and film with links to newspapers and periodicals. Waiata meaning songs has been expanded to include contemporary Maori songs. Moteatea, meaning Maori songs has now been redefined as Traditional laments. The following terms have new Tāhuhu/Broader Terms of Whanau (Family) and revised Whakamārama and Scope Notes: * Pepe meaning Babies has been corrected to Pepe [movement of macrons]; * Tamariki nohinohi meaning Toddlers; * Kohungahunga meaning Pre-schoolers; * Tamariki meaning Children aged five to 12 years; * Taiohi meaning Teenagers aged 12-16 years; * Taitamariki meaning Young people aged 16-21 years; * Pakeke meaning Adults. Whare wananga meaning universities has been expanded to include traditional meanings of houses of learning (Traditional). The remaining terms have minor changes, and these can now be viewed at "Changes to existing terms, January 2011" on the home page of Nga Upoko Tukutuku.
