Hi folks, Here are two presentations that introduce RDA to non-cataloguers. The first is a 2010 presentation by Judy Kuhagen of the Library of Congress for the LC reference staff, and the second is a much shorter and more general presentation that I gave at the 2010 LIANZA but it has been updated slightly for 2012. 1. http://www.rda-jsc.org/docs/10_11_30_LCReferencestaffbriefingrev2011.ppt 2. RDA in 10 easy steps (for cataloguing a book) by Thomas Brenndorfer http://nlc.nebraska.gov/handouts/classmaterials/rda1210/RDA_in_10_Easy_Steps... and RDA for non-cataloguers by Renate Beilharz http://conferences.alia.org.au/libtec2011/papers/Renate_Beilharz.pdf Both resources were mentioned during the recent RDA seminar. Both provide a simple framework when trying to explain to non-cataloguers what the changes will be and how they will impact positively for clients. I would recommend them as a starting point for discussion on impending changes and issues.
