NOTES:

• Cancellation Policy: A 90% Refund will be issued for cancellations received before the 16 November 2018, no refunds past this date.
• Paper Registration: Each registration (including student registration) can cover a single paper (either full or short paper). Each additional paper is charged NZD$300.00.
• Summer School is only for Student Remembers of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

Passports & Visas

When you arrive, you’ll need to ensure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure date, and if required, have a valid New Zealand visa.

You do not need a visa to visit New Zealand if you are:

• A New Zealand or Australian citizen or resident, or
• A UK citizen and/or passport holder (you can stay up to six months), or
• A citizen of a country which has a visa waiver agreement with New Zealand (you can stay up to three months)

If you don’t meet the criteria above, then you will need to apply for a Visitor Visa www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/about-visa/visitor-visa

Invitation Letter

If you do require a letter of invitation to support your Visa application, please email your registration receipt to will.browne@ecs.vuw.ac.nz and hui.ma@ecs.vuw.ac.nz with the email subject "AI 2018 Invitation Letter Request".
