Distributed Data-Intensive Service Composition

Service-oriented computing has emerged as a new way of developing software. For example, a travel booking system can be composed of multiple services, such as flight booking services, hotel booking services, and online payment services. Service providers compete for service users, and therefore they aim to provide services not only with required functionality but also with good quality of service. Distributed composition with data-intensive services across multiple network nodes must consider the costs of dependency checking, consistency enforcement, data transfer and storage. We will investigate the optimisation problems of data-intensive service composition and develop heuristic algorithms for solving them.

The information about service composition will be put here
