Changes to the Beta RDA Toolkit

Kia ora tātou I just thought I’d point out that there have been some helpful new changes to the Beta RDA Toolkit, live this morning! There’s now a persistent blue button taking you back to the top of the longer element pages, and the rather opaque Detailed, High-level and Parent element groups have been removed (as discussed at the CatSIG seminar yesterday). There have also been some layout changes, with instruction options highlighted more clearly. CatSIG AGM tomorrow

Hi all, Sorry for the late notification but the AGM document are up on the LIANZA website. https://lianza.org.nz/agms-0 Please come along to the AGM tomorrow at 8.40am. It is before our Professional Development Day. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be registered to attend the Professional Development day to attend the AGM. Venue: The Te Wehenga and Malaga Pasifika rooms, Te Ahumairangi (ground floor), National Library, corner Molesworth and Aitken Streets, Thorndon, Wellington. Note: the main doors on the ground floor do not open before 9am. Access to the ground floor before 9am is either through the Home Café entrance on the north side of the building or by using the lower-ground floor entrance on Aitken Street. Use the marble staircase or glass lift to reach the ground floor. The room is immediately behind the reception desk. Lightning survey of RDA in Asia and Oceania

Dear colleagues, The National Library of Australia is conducting a short multilingual survey to help the RDA Board understand and plan for the internationalisation of RDA to meet your needs. All the surveys are now live and open - please help us by sending your response and inviting your colleagues and networks to participate. If you are involved in cataloguing and resource description I encourage you to complete this short survey about RDA in Asia and Oceania. The Resource Description and Access (RDA) cataloguing standard provides instructions and guidelines for creating library catalogue records that meet international data sharing standards.
