Visualizing Road Traffic Volume Data
Large quantities of traffic explored data are collected throughout the New Zealand State Highway network, and further analysis of this data could provide valuable insights into traffic behaviour in New Zealand. Understanding the the behaviour and limitations of the road network is key to ensuring it can continue to operate with as little disruption as possible. TrafficVis is a web application built specifically for the efficient analysis of this data. TrafficVis provides the tools to gain a greater understanding of traffic trends and resiliency of the State Highway network.
