The following companies have joined us to provide professional work experience for our Engineering and Computer Science students. These employers provide a safe, inclusive and face-to-face work environment (Covid permitting). Students are employed and paid under a short-term employment contract.

In these workplaces our students add value for employers by applying taught theory to real world problems and in the process they also develop a strong understanding of the importance of soft skills in the tech workplace.

Spamming is a tool used by people who typically don't need or want to meet their target audience. Often they are selling something dodgy. In contrast when job hunting the goal is to meet people and the thing you are "selling" is you.

Spam gets binned. Face-to-face you represent an interesting conversation. Find ways to meet people doing interesting things in places you want to work. Go meet them and have a casual chat.
